Description

Ac-i-prim with the Lactobacillus acidophilus is the successor product of the legendary PT-12. Ac-i-prim embodies everything that impressed the previous product. Over 15 years of experience in dealing with lactobacilli and this in the pharmaceutical sector has created an inexhaustible knowledge base. Re-scha® has transferred this knowledge to the entire manufacturing process of the new product. re-schas® quality standards and those of its customers are reflected in this new probiotic food supplement. Great importance is attached to compliance with the declared bacterial count on living lactobacilli. Re-scha®'s external GMP laboratory, which has proven itself over many years, monitors the most important production stages. The product-related packaging, which enables proper storage, is also a matter of course. Re-scha® spared no expense or effort here. The choice of this particular l.acidophilus was not made purely by chance. The Ac-i-prim contains only one probiotic bacterial strain. As the saying “many cooks spoil the broth” so beautifully says, several different bacterial species can mutually hinder each other in their exercise. It is extremely difficult to find bacteria of different species for a probiotic that can work together. Likewise, the acidophilus is not encapsulated. How does it help the user or the animal if the capsule shell only opens after the intestinal passage? This risk is too great. A probiotic also loses a large number of valuable, living germs when it is encapsulated. Said lactobacillus is a special isolate from a species which is frequently found in the small intestine of the target species. It is also able, among other things, to occupy exposed intestinal receptors. In several extensive studies that were necessary for EU approval, it has shown that it can significantly improve the health (i.e. vitality) of the animals. At first sight, the idea of reducing the use of antibiotics is associated with the use of Ac-i-prim. When dealing with the predecessor product, we know that lactobacilli can not only set enormous metabolic performance in motion, but also help the body to synthesize nutrient products that cannot be supplied artificially. I have already adequately described the effect of lactobacilli on pathogenic (= undesirable germs) in earlier publications. The lacidophilus shows no antibiotic resistance and therefore the Ac-i-prim has to be used again and again after antibiotics have been administered. Lactobacilli with antibiotic resistance are also not approved in the EU.

Use of Ac-i-prim in the target species: Ac-i-prim is optimally administered through the feed. Here it makes sense to use the well-known "Frutin" from re-scha® as a binding agent. In this way, none of the valuable bacterial substance is lost and the lactobacilli receive additional food for their reproduction. Re-schas® “tarsine” also contains important food sources for lactobacilli. Administration via the drinking water is only advisable if the animals ingest the water within 2-3 hours. Our own studies have shown that the longer lactobacilli remain in drinking water, the greater the mortality rate of living germs. Another option for administration is to simply dust the feed with Ac-i-prim. A practical tip: the simplest and most effective method is to put the food and Ac-i-prim in a balanced amount in a plastic bag and shake vigorously. Some bacterial substance is then lost, but often there is no other option. The Ac-i-prim cannot be overdosed, as too much bacteria are excreted. Lactobacilli also stop reproducing by themselves if the pH value in the small intestine falls below a certain level. In preparation for breeding, the animals are given Ac-i-prim for at least 14 days. To improve the quality of the egg, Ac-i-prim can also be administered over the entire laying period. From the 1st day of life, young animals receive Ac-i-prim for at least a period of 14 days. However, a longer administration time is also possible without hesitation.

Dosage of Ac-i-prim:

Ac-i-prim should be administered over the entire daily feed if possible. The dosage is approx. 3 g / kg feed (= 1 slightly heaped macro measuring spoon) depending on the age of the animals. Corresponding measuring spoons are included in the packaging as a measuring aid. Macro measuring spoons in the 120 g and 40 g Ac-i-prim jars, slightly heaped (= 3.0 g) for approx. 30-40 animals per day. Micro measuring spoons in the 40 g and 1 B g Ac-i-prim jar, filled in a light pile (= 0.3 g) for 3-5 animals per day. Micro-measuring spoons in the 1 B g Ac-i-prim can, filled in a light heap (= 0.3 g) for 3-5 animals per day. The 40 g Ac-i-prim jar contains one micro and one macro measuring spoon each. Storage of Ac-i-prim: re-scha® continues to favor storage under freezer conditions at minus 18 ° Celsius. These are conditions under which the lactobacilli remain viable for many years. It goes without saying that the Ac-i-prim product is stored at re-scha® at these freezing temperatures before it is dispatched. Temporary storage under refrigerator conditions (approx. 4 ° C - 6 ° C) for 12 months and under room temperature conditions (approx. 20 ° C - 22 ° C) for 6 months is possible. See also the note on the product label. This product information is to be seen as a guide for the correct use of the Ac-i-prim. re-scha® is also happy to provide detailed information on very special application options.
